The Hands-on Engineer
I am Idealcan, a software engineer with a BSc in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow.
My interest in programming was originally shaped by storytelling, which later evolved into a focus on system design: building simulations, agent-driven systems, and rule-based worlds where behavior emerges from structure rather than scripts.
Currently exploring
MCP servers, concurrent systems in Go, vector databases, multi-agent architectures, ECS in Rust
Code, Break, Repeat
I build by doing. Most of my projects start without a grand plan. Just iterating, trying, failing, and figuring things out.
I learn by diving into open source, reading how others solved similar problems, and getting into flow.
